Solved Network adapter disappear after re installing window 7

Never had any problem with internet connection until few days ago after reinstalling window 7. I've tried going to device manager and network adapter had disappeared from the tree. Ethernet controller is also unrecognized by the computer. I uninstalling it but since network connection was not established, it could not self fix the problem.

I've also went on intel to look for network adapter like this one https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=18713

But it couldn't complete and the error message said could not find Intel(R) network adapter on this computer... well no shit? Isn't that what I'm trying to install?

Hi Buddy,

Do either of those show up as warning triangles in the device manager or do they just not show up at all?

I thought the problem was something deeper but it's just that I had to reinstall the Ethernet driver from Asus P8P67 LE motherboard. :shock:
