The laptop I'm using is the Sony Vaio SVE14A35CXH and I'm having trouble downloading network wifi driver. Operating System : Windows 7 Ultimate x64

Under Device Manager, "Other Devices>Network Controller".

I download and installed the Qualcomm Atheros AR9485WB-EG from the Sony Vaio Support site. Once I finished installing, I reboot my computer and it still shows under Device Manager, "Other Devices>Network Controller".

Before this even happened, I was updating my SanDisk SSD Ultra Plus firmware since it was outdated. After the firmware update, I was having problems connecting to my wireless. I decided to uninstall the Qualcomm Atheros AR9485WB-EG wifi adapter and reinstall it again. Then when finish installing, it still shows that in the task manager, no active network adapter found.

Please help address this problem since as of now, I have to use my old wifi adapter which still works but its not as good as my wifi adapter in the laptop.
