Network Adapter problem - Toshiba NB250-101

[FONT=&quot]I have an old Toshiba NB250-101 netbook, and I have decided to format it after so many years of continue use. [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Therefore, I used Windows 7 Starter, as it was its OS from the beginning. After the format/installation, everything is working fine except from Network Adapters. No Ethernet and no Wi-Fi adapter is showing. [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]My PC > Right Click > Device Manager: No Adapter > Show Hidden: No Adapters.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot] [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]1. [/FONT][FONT=&quot]I have install new drivers from Toshiba, No luck[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]2. [/FONT][FONT=&quot]Unmount RAM waited for a hole day, No luck[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]3. [/FONT][FONT=&quot]With Battery, without battery only power supply, No Luck[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]4. [/FONT][FONT=&quot] [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Is my netbook dead…? What else should I do?

Toshiba have passed support for that model to Dynabook

see screenshot for drivers

have you also checked unknown devices,

as its starter suspect, x86 drivers required
and max ram will be 3GB

Good evening, There are Unknown Devices but not under Network Adapters...
I have checked Bios and networking is enabled.

NO its not, if a driver is missing from the device thats how MS identifies it.


Open the properties option for It/them, details tab then click on the lttle down arrow select device id's
(Hint PCI/VEN) what are they

Hello again, I have found that the missing driver is the TOS1900 driver. I tried to download and install some of them but again with no luck.

Moreover in control panel > Network and internet > Network connections there are no Adapters.
What else can I do?

see you have an Atheros 9285 card.

1)
Go to the Unknown device
Update driver -- select --browse my computer then choose Let me pick
UNTICK show compatible hardware
scroll down to Atheros (left side) then from the right side select the 9285 (choice of 2 try both)

The error code is Code31, for the other two is Code10

running out of options here, but if you've re-installed 6 times then

can you check your Bios is wifi enabled, or if the wifi switch on the laptop is On??

in BIOS everything is OK, WiFi switch on the laptop OK, tried the Fix nothing...
This is the first time I am facing a problem like this...
