Solved Network and Sharing page load fail + Wireless connection off

I thought I might add this thread for those who are facing the "Page load fail " with losing wireless connection.


The problem is with the QUTIL.DLL file that is most likely corrupted and damaged.
To be sure go to run > cmd > ipconfig /all > enter
an error msg will popup stating the dll file name "QUTIL.DLL"

if so just replace it with a fresh new QUTIL.DLL file.
Restart
you will regain the wirless network connection on your notification bar and will manage to connect and you will regain access to the Network and Sharing page

You are a lifesaver...however, I have one novice question. Exactly how do you replace the file with the new file? Step by step instructions would be great. Thanks so much for posting this and saving me days of research!

My Computer > C: > Windows > System32 in the search tab type QUTIL.dll it will find it for you. as for the fresh healthy file you can either download it from the internet or you can retrieve it from the windows cd by the steps in this link
