Greetings traveler!

One of many issues I have with Windows 7 is when I select the Network icon I sometimes don't see the other computers that are in the network. Sometimes I do.

It's just the name and the icon that won't appear. However, if I type \\COMPUTERNAME I connect to it right away. Solutions?

It would be great if it was like in XP - the network computer always appeared. Even if it was offline, but then you'd get an error message saying it's offline or something.

Well, the other machines are Linux based. But yes - they're connected to the network and they have the similar settings turned on.
