Hi all

I need your help very desperately regarding this problem which i am struggling with for past 3 weeks. I have a Lenovo X201i Thinkpad with Win 7 pro. I have a zyxel router at home. I can connect to the router and the network but the speed is terribly slow specially youtube, also the download speed of any file is dead slow. My android phone is working fine. I also tested one of my friends laptop which has Xp in it. Internet works like rocket in that machine. Moreover, if i connect my laptop to some other network, e.g. my office, it works well.

what i have already tried:
1. unistalling and re-installing the latest wireless driver
2. resetting the router
3. trying preferred DNS server to be 208.67.222.222 and alternate DNS to be 208.67.220.220

please suggest something. I also tried various suggestion in other forums to similar problem, but nothing seem to work.

PLEASE SAVE MY LIFE...

Please make sure your router is set to the higher speed (e.g., g, n). We just had a user who had a router set to b. That goes for your wireless network card as well.

Do you connect wirelessly at work, or via Ethernet?
