I work at a pretty large company in which everyone one our floor shares the same wireless connection. It doesn't have standard WPA or WEP security, when i connect I get the bubble "additional login information may be required" and then when you connect the first page you go to is a company sign in page and an administrator has to physically sign you in. 2 days ago I randomly got booted from the network after having no issues for a few months. Nobody around the office is able to help and I'm looking for any input. I'm getting "no internet access" in my system tray but it appears that I'm connected to the network. I don't know a ton about networking but it looks to me like our network has booted my computer. If anybody has some suggestions that'd be great, maybe a way to make my computer appear to the network as a new machine that has never connected before??? Please let me know if yall need more information but I am not at the office right now so I'll do my best. Also I've already tried ipconfig /release, renew, flushdns etc....

You can try to set manual IP settings for your wireless connection to something different so the wireless AP doesn't automatically reject you because your IP is different. This would mean making sure you get the proper subnet mask, gateway, and DNS settings set as well.

This is the downfall to "hotel" style wireless access. I did this to myself once and have disliked it ever since.

let me know if you need more info.
