Solved Network issues Windows 7 to Vista

Thanks everyone > Turning off password protected sharing on the Vista PC did the Job. Feel a bit stupid now but, in my defence, I had religiously followed a Windows 7 Networking instruction sheet (& associated Blogs) that said "Password Protected Sharing" must be on.

Glad that worked for you. Password protected sharing I recommend being on, but if it does not bother you with it being off, I say just go for it.
