Hi all,

I hope you can hep me because I have done a lot but nothing seems to work.

I have a Win 7 laptop wireless on a router. In this router I have a RJ45 cable to a Conrad NAS Adapter from that adapter a USB cable goes to my external Hard-disk.

I see the disk but when I try to access the disk I get a pop-up asking for a Network password? I do not have one.

How to solve this so I can access my hard-disk without the password question?

Hi,

When you installed the NAS, did you setup accounts for the users that will have access to this NAS, using the Conrad software?

Try admin as a password, and see if that works.

Regards,
Golden

I have looked at the software, typed in the mac address of the harddisk but I do not know how to setup an account for a stand alone HD. There is no computer att. to the HD.
