hello,
i have problem which is regarding to LAN. Here is my problem discussed
Recently we did a project on structure cabling(LAN). After my project is done my client moved over to new network from old network. problem is when i opened my "network places" in any client PC, some network PCs are showing some are not, but i am able to ping to them as well i am able to access those network PCs drives in RUN via ip address. they people are using windows server 2008 as servers, windows7,xp as client. They people use network PCs for sharing purpose only. we configured DHCP for all client PCs in Cisco switch.when i click on any network PCs(which are showing) it is taking so much time to open. thankyou.
we used a cisco switch as core switch,D-Link switch as access switch.
all PCs are located within range(< 90 meters) from switch.
cable type we used CAT6
