Ny Network Tray Icon has a yellow triangle on it when I login to Windows, however I can still connect to the internet. All I have to do is click Internet Explorer and the triangle goes away. It is annoying to have to do that at every logon. Can anyone help me with this. I did not make any changes that I know of that would have created this problem.

It may help if you right click it and select troubleshoot, no promises though! :)

I think I might go into the Device manager to see if there is a problem with the network driver. It might help to uninstall the driver from device manager then restart and let Windows install the driver again.

I solved my own problem. It just dawned on me that it might have started after I did the Rename Homegroup tweak posted on this site. I restore the original key and Voila! Problem solved. Everything is now back to normal. I'm just lucky I backed up the Registry Key before I did the tweak.

Rename Homegroup is a new one on me. Sounds like that so called tweak didn't work too well. Messing with system settings or the registry hardly ever pays off in the long run.
