I've been to hell and back, all over the net, youtube, yet nothing shows me how to do this. Is it possible to connect, via ethernet cable, my laptop using vista to my home computer running 7? I need to access files and share the printer. I can't seem to figure it out, the 2 just aren't communicating. I just want to be able to share folders. Any help is highly appreciated, thanks! I

You may very likely need a crossover cable to get this to work for you properly as described in this article here
