after contacting asus and trying updated drivers for everything the bsod are still intermittent. the only thing that seems constant is the ntoskrnl.exe being listed as a cause.

Put up the specs of the computer you're having BSoDs. Did you check if all the parts are compatible with each other before purchasing?

I see that you have a hard drive of around 80 GB, probably an old one?

Code:
Description	Disk drive
Manufacturer	(Standard disk drives)
Model	WDC WD800JD-08LSA0 ATA Device
Bytes/Sector	512
Media Loaded	Yes
Media Type	Fixed hard disk
Partitions	2
SCSI Bus	0
SCSI Logical Unit	0
SCSI Port	0
SCSI Target ID	0
Sectors/Track	63
Size	[COLOR="Red"]74.54 GB[/COLOR] (80,031,974,400 bytes)
Total Cylinders	9,730
Total Sectors	156,312,450
Total Tracks	2,481,150
Tracks/Cylinder	255
Partition	Disk #0, Partition #0
Partition Size	100.00 MB (104,857,600 bytes)
Partition Starting Offset	1,048,576 bytes
Partition	Disk #0, Partition #1
Partition Size	74.44 GB (79,924,559,872 bytes)
Partition Starting Offset	105,906,176 bytes

It seems to be the cause of your problems.
Run Disk Check, see if it that fixes it. If it doesn't, that hard drive should be replaced.

NTFS and USB errors here. I'm seeing some invalid parameter passing and I/O request errors. Other then that, minidumps are too scanty to display the data we need. We probably will need Driver Verifier crashdumps. Give us a couple of those and we should be good.

Run Driver Verifier as previously instructed and then let your system crash a couple more times with it active. Provide us any new crashdumps if they are produced.

[/FONT] Reboot into Windows (after the crash) and turn off Driver Verifier by going back in and selecting "Delete existing settings" on the first page, then locate and zip up the memory dump file and upload it with your next post.

ok i turned it off and now once back in windows i cant get anything to work windows explorer just crashes when trying to open almost everything still no blue screens. ill poke around a bit more, hopefully someone has an idea which way to go now.
