Many thanks for your advice. - The hardware monitor in the bios shows the vcore voltage at 1.128v, the 3.3v at 3.37, the 5v at 5.12v and the 12v at 12.091 which is confusing! CPU temp is 48 and MB temp is 26.
The only real difference in the set up is that for Windows 7 I've used a re-formatted hard drive which is actually exactly the same spec as my old drive running XP (this drive was not present when I installed windows 7).
