Hello everyone. I bought a refurb computer for my girlfriend (See here) and set everything up but can't seem to get the audio to work. I tried plugging in a pair of speakers I had (Durabrand UC-280 2 Channel USB Computer Speakers) but no detection at all. The audio driver is AMD High Definition Audio Device and is up to date, working properly, but says it's an HDMI Device, I have no HDMI cables running from this computer at all, so I'm wondering if there's any way I can install a sound driver that will actually utilize the audio jack ports on this PC?

I'm not sure what brand of motherboard I have on it but it has:

Intel Core 2 Quad CPU
Onboard Audio
XFX One Radeon HD 5450 (bought separately and installed)
4GB RAM
Windows 7 Professional 64-Bit

Sound doesn't work with my headphones either (I have tried all audio jack ports).

So any suggestions might help.

EDIT: The motherboard is not AMD and there are no default HDMI Ports, so I'm presuming that the Graphics Card Driver overwrote the default sound driver since it's the only device with any HDMI Output at all... how do I find out which driver I need to get for my sound card and then uninstall the one the graphics card added?

Here is the drivers, from the HP site. http://h20566.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAGE/public/psi/swdHome/?sp4ts.oid=3658083&spf_p.tpst=swdMain&spf_p.prp_swdMain=wsrp-navigationalState%3DswEnvOID%253D4059%257CswLang%253D%257Caction%253DlistDriver&javax.portlet.begCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken&javax.portlet.endCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken#Driver - Audio

The Audio is ADI High Definition. Reinstall that and see if it helps. The "Speakers" must be set as the default audio playback device for the headphones to work. Not sure about USB speakers, I don't use USB speakers, I use "standard" analog speakers.
