Solved New Email Account

Hi all having trouble with virgin media and windows live mail made new account at virgin media and can login there fine but wont except my password at windows live mail ??? what's going on ....... all my other email accounts work fine but they end "ntlworld.com" this new one ends "virginmedia.com"

as far as I know done all this still wont work ??? its just this one account that wont work says its sinking

You must have left some thing out .. As i am with the same Server as you and the Setup worked for me ..

sorted this problem so I added account as maxie stated earlier but it wouldn't work ???? been on virgin forums this is a big problem there but simple to fix, know I know, there may be other ways to fix this but if u add an account in the normal way with "virginmedia" tag u will end up this problem done it twice now

so open windows live male
click on account
select properties
select servers
then in the box for incoming mail server change the shortened name "gumtree001" to full address [email protected]
tick apply
ok
all should work ps that's not a real email address

Glad you got the issue sorted ..There Forums are pretty good when you have problems and there is always Customer Service ....
