New Firefox earns full WebRTC

I use Aurora which is the precursor to Firefox builds. Build 23a2 is quite good but I can't back the statement about newer versions always being better. I support using the right version for the task. I still use 3.6.28 about 50% of the time as newer versions no longer perform some functions I require or there aren't plugins/ad-ons to restore lost functionality.

I'm stuck back at Firefox 12 which is the last version where I can drag 7F Bookmarked links Title-intact into posts without converting them to the untitled URL. Still searching for a workaround or fix. Firefox forums are no help at all.

Index of /pub/mozilla.org/firefox

Try Fx23 Beta 1 under Candidates. I don't even bother to go to mozillazine anymore. There are 3 or 4 users there that think they own Firefox and that forum. It is not good for Firefox. If your new at it they will laugh at you.

Thanks Gary. I still have the problem though with dragging my tutorial links from Bookmarks menu into posts, having them convert from their title to the raw URL until the post is posted when they will show the original tutorial title which often is not what I want it named.

However, its so much snappier I may sacrifice that customization just to enjoy the latest Firefox. I have never sacrificed snappier for anything before no matter how habitual. It's just that I like to work with the tutorial titles as I drag them into posts, and doing this saves a lot of time daily.

You mean drag from the URL box, Julian?

Edit: Creating a link in a post with the link maker takes time while dragging a bookmark from drop-down takes none. The problem is that after version 12 it turns the dragged URL to a URL and it stays that way in most posts. I need it to drag and remain as its titled so I can edit the title as needed (or not) but dragging a URL is too clumsy and loses thread continuity. That's all. Hope I explained it better this time.

sorry just noticed your edit. i dont usually read back through posts.

i knew what you meant about it changing the titles and why you were sticking with 12.
no need to re explain :)
using the hyper link means you can drop it into a title you have created, another way but probably just as ineficient would be to create a list of urls ,
create a forum template,
create them with the titles you want using the hyperlink and so when you want your links with the correct names to drag then you just need an extra tab open...

open a forum page then in the advanced editor click post templates,
that will show all the links you created just how you want them ,
you can highlight and drag one into the tab/thread your working and drop it into the post editor.
that template would act as your forum bookmarks dropdown..
bit of a faff around at first but i reckon you would soon have it working to your advantage.

Was discarded by previous owner due to "horrible performance".
Was running Win Xp from a IDE drive. Yeah. Was a pain.
SATA II drive and Win7 and it zips away! Yay!
Behaves fine here and I have it on 4 of my 5 computers.

What you fail to grasp is that Firefox 23 is better then 22. Firefox 24 is better than 23, Firefox 25 is better than 24 and so on. I used to use only Nightly builds but I got tired of a update every day. So I moved on to the Beta Builds. This ends my explanation on how Firefox works. It is much the same as Windows. Windows 7 is Better than Vista..etc. Got it?
Good.:D

Thanks to all who made suggestions for working around my problem since v.12 with Bookmarked tutorial links not dragging title-intact into Posts. I have resolved this by using the newest version which does only drag the URL and not title of bookmark into Post, but thanks to a suggestion by David, on tutorials which I want to edit the title I rightclick the Bookmark in the dropdown and Copy/Paste it into the post which keeps the title intact. It's really only on a handful of tutorials where I need to edit the title, and it does convert from URL to title after clicking Post anyway.

An example is a bookmark I link daily showing how to Automatically get recommended drivers and updates for your hardware (Step 3) . But if I drag it now as a URL it reads http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/2803-device-installation-settings.html which is the title of the tutorial and not what I want them to do with it.

I really appreciate the extra browser speed to make up for it.
