Solved New GTX 750ti, no picture/no signal

Hi, I really need help, I got this Asus GTX 750ti OC 2GB VRAM DDDR5 card for Christmas, but it doesn't work, I took out my old GT 610, and placed in the new card, after that I put everything back in, connected it via VGA, then booted my PC, turned on my screen and it said BenQ like usual, then it said No Signal Found for about 2 seconds and went black, it's all plugged in properly, so I thought I'd try it on my TV with HDMI, but it just displays no image, just black too. And if it helps, there is a light on top of the card, and it is glowing red, I'm not sure if that's just the colour they wanted, or it's a colour standing for ERROR..etc

But any help would be appreciated, although I am taking this card back to ask tomorrow, but I am just wondering. As it's all I wanted, and I told my parents I only wanted one thing and it was this, but it doesn't work, so.. :/ It sucks as my GT 610 is way too slow to play any of my games.

PS: when I put back in my old card, it does work, but on my old card I connect using a female thingy, a white DVI thing, I would use it on my new card but it doesn't fit due to not having the 4 extra pins in it. But the GT 610 also works with a HDMI. But right now I'm on my GT 610

Did you remember to connect the 6 pin power connector from the power supply?

Also is your power supply up to running the card? The new card isn't a power hog like its bigger brothers, but it uses a fair bit more than your old GT 610.

Some GTX 750Tis have no external power connector. Give us the model number so we can check if your GTX 750 Ti has one.

Yes, sorry, I found that out after posting this thread! It's now all up and running! It's great, also got a new monitor, and the 1080p looks amazing, #pcmasterrace I guess
