Hi,

Appreciate any advice regarding transferring data from "old" laptop to new laptop.
Both machines running Win 7 Pro.
Data is standard files, mostly MS Office files and various PDF's, JPEG's, etc.
FWIW purchased MS Office 365 Home - hoping Outlook and rest of office programs transfer smoothly.
Thanks in advance!

Programs don't transfer easily, if at all. Your data should be easy to transfer via a data transfer cable or you can network the computers or you can use a USB thumb drive.

Other Info
Built my first computer (8Mhz 8088cpu, 640K RAM, 20MB HDD, 2 360K floppy drives) in 1985 and have been building them for myself, relatives and friends ever since.
Some license are for a single PC/laptop, and not transferable.
And you cannot move your existing laptop HDD to the new laptop HDD.
License issue, which you are required to contact MS.
Other software &or program is also due to 1 laptop that is first installed.
