I've just completed my newest computer, a quad core running 64 bit Win 7 (my 8th build, but my first 64 bit). I can't transfer or sync files from my other 32 bit machines as I normally do. Nothing I've tried makes any difference....the transfer just does'nt happen. The new machine works perfectly on the LAN to access the web and everything seems perfect.........but it won't transfer or receive files.
I've repeatedly set sharings to "everyone" and approved every setting for sharing I can find. Have I missed something here?
Am I up against a difference because of the 64 bit software trying to work with other machines running 32 bit Win 7? Any thoughts?
Thanks!
