New PC Build BSOD Error WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR

Try running this in an elevated command prompt vssadmin list shadowstorage

Also, disconnect the 1TB drive and see if you can boot OK. If you can reconnect it and Open an elevated command prompt and type diskpart and press enter, when the command prompt responds diskpart, type list volume and press enter. It will show each drive in your system and assign each with a number found on the left. Choose your D drive, which I suspect will be volume 1 (but you can tell by the size), type select volume 1 (or whatever number is assigned to it) and press enter. Then type inactive. Then type exit and press enter until the cmd prompt goes away. Then go back and look in disk management and see if your C drive is listed as active and D drive is no listed as active. That is only if you can boot without D connected.

How much free space do you have on your hard drive?

Please click the start button, right click computer and select properties. In the left column select System Protection, click configure restore settings and manage space, the next window set it at 5%. The 2 windows should look like this, or tell me what you have set.

Lucid92, Do you have or can you find a friend to borrow another Graphics card from? The best scenario for you is to borrow a graphics card from a friend and use their card for a day or so and have them use your card. It would clear up some things and be a pretty good test to help us figure out the problem.

You are getting 0X124 errors which are generic hardware errors. It just means that some piece of hardware is failing/has failed. As was suggested by Pauly earlier in the thread, We are getting a Bus code, which may be why you are having troubles

Code:
Section 2 : x86/x64 MCA
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Descriptor @ ffffe00048617148
Section @ ffffe000486172d0
Offset : 664
Length : 264
Flags : 0x00000000
Severity : Fatal
Error : [COLOR=red]BUSLG_GENERIC_ERR_*_TIMEOUT_ERR (Proc 0 Bank 4)[/COLOR]
  Status : 0xfe00000000070f0f
  Address : 0x00000000df197238
  Misc. : 0xc00a0fff01000000

Are you overclocking your CPU or Graphics card? Is you ram set to manufacturer's specs.

I turned device verifier off yesterday I think.

Just do whatever you do when it usually crashes. See if you can make it crash. Also, did you ever give me the voltages from BIOS? Also, what PSU do you have, Manufacturer and Model?

No, but I have checked them before I made a thread on here when I was troubleshooting on my own and they were fine.

It's an EVGA 600B 600W 80+ Bronze

Essenbe, if I don't get any more crashes for a day or so, is it safe to assume there is a hardware problem? And if so what should I do then?

I would like to know what card you are using now. If it does not pull close to the same power as the 290X, I would be hesitant. Other than that, I would think the problem was the card. With the bus error, I honestly was thinking the Motherboard, but if it can run that card, I would not think so now. But, I would give it some time and do some graphically demanding things with it to be certain.

It's an old NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GTS. Iv'e been playing games on it for the past hour now and it's working fine, unlike it did with the Radeon R9 290X, so I think we've found the problem.

I ordered the card off Amazon so I have been able to organise a replacement. I have arranged for it to be picked up but I am able to cancel the pick up if it still crashes.

So my replacement graphics card arrived and it working a treat. However I have just had a completely different crash, the computer just rebooted without any buzzing or freezing. This is what I found in the event logs:

The AODDriver4.2.0 service failed to start due to the following error:
The system cannot find the path specified.

A fatal hardware error has occurred.

Component: AMD Northbridge
Error Source: Machine Check Exception
Error Type: HyperTransport Watchdog Timeout Error
Processor APIC ID: 0
