New PC

So i finally got around to building my first PC, and it was great!

Note before i start: If your wondering why i said "bought a custom pc" on a thread i posted, i bought another one for old-school games, which is runs my favorite old-school games beautifully!

Anyways lets begin!
Specs:
AMD Athlon II X64 630
ATI Radeon HD 5770
8GB DDR3 RAM(4x2GB)
ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO motherboard
Seagate ST1000NM0011 hard drive
Corsair TX 750W PSU
Some cougar case

Building it:
Building it was pretty straight forward, i did everything you would on a regular build and it booted! One lucky thing is i got everything on my first try, no running into errors or related. Some things that i would have changed is that i could have gone with a 2x4GB setup, but decided not to because i wanted to utilize all slots on the motherboard. One future upgrade I'm gonna make is putting some case fans, because it sure gets dusty in there. Another upgrade would be a new CPU cooler because the stock one is so loud. Other than that it was fun building it and i really enjoyed it. Something i'm planning to do is to cable manage, i didn't do that because i just wanted it to work, i don't have a window so the cables are barely visible but still. It needs some cable management. One thing that made me kinda sad is that it doesn't have any 2.5 HDD/SSD cages. I really need that because I want to install some harddrives and a SSD, that John(ICIT2LOL) gave me, huge thanks to him once again, and my previous HDDs so i can extract data to my new harddrive. I know i can get a disk enclosure but 2.5 cages are really needed here. Any help on that? I'll be attaching some images of the finished rig.

Good job Laith!

A rear case fan, at least is a must. I would suggest you get one as soon as you can. That might help cut down on the noise from the CPU cooler. It won't need to run as fast as the hot air is being exhausted. Some front case fans will be good to bring in some cooler air, but like you said, you're going to get some so that's good.

I'm curious, what's the motherboard temperature of that thing with the case all sealed up and running?

Also the psu pulls air from the bottom to cool it's self
You have it sitting on carpet that's not wise mate

Looks good overall except as pointed out you need more case fans

You just need a 2.5" ssd insert, like this one.

Yeah, i know. I was wondering if i can do it without.

Also i wasn't able to move the PSU, if i did it would interfere with the motherboard.

No it will just pull air from inside the case and push it out through the back a better option for sitting on the floor carpet for sure

You could tape the bottom of the case so carpet lint is not pulled in through the bottom but that is up to you

No, with interfering i meant it would interfere with the motherboard and GPU, because it would be so tall.

You might need to take another picture just rotating the psu 180 degrees so the fan is facing up takes up no more room than before :/

Looking at your motherboard temp, it seems to be awfully warm. Some extra cooling fans will definitely help there.

To give you an example, my ambient room temp right now is 20C and my motherboard temp is reading 21C (I also have four case fans for case cooling), and I'm essentially idling. When you get some case fans, that temperature will definitely drop, and so will your CPU temp.

Yep gpu's get hot and cpu cooler is pulling it's hot air onto it
Pretty much shows there's no fan on the front of the case either for an intake also to cool hdd's ..?

Cable management is the reason for it not staying cool. The first time I built a computer I did the exact same mistake but once I dragged the cables behind the motherboard plate inside the case temperatures dropped, and it also looks cooler if you have it nice and tidy in there..

Here is a tip for everyone out there. I see you have red sata cables. If they are the generic type without locking tabs I would replace them with better cables with locking connectors unless you want data errors, missing hard drives and general issues. I speak from experience that generic sata cables without locking tabs eventually suffer from all kinds of connection issues.

or similar is what you want for less issues.

For sure you need to flip the PSU so the fan is pulling case air and exhausting out the back right away, this will act as a case fan. Then add a front and rear case fan ASAP. Your SSD can also mount in the back if the case has a space for cable management with Velcro and you may be able to open up one of the drive cages and cable manage for much better air flow.

Your temperatures are too high IMO even though you do have a high ambient of 30C. You need a couple more fans particularly a rear exhaust fan. I have my PCs on carpet but I raise them by putting some under the feet eg. a couple of pieces of timber (2-3cm) wide enough so the PC sits securely but not restricting any fan under the PSU.
