New SSD broken my internet adapter?

I recently, about 8 hours ago, bought an SSD, and reinstalled windows onto it, as ya do. And as Im reinstalling all my drivers, for my GPU, etc. and realise I cant find my Internet Adapter disc, I look on the internet for some driver files on my laptop, and download some, supposedly some drivers work with all ABit adapters, go to install it, and find that the adapter isnt in the list in the Device Manager panel. I literally spent the last 2 hours roaming the internet to find out whats happening, with no avail. I cant provide much info on it, as I swapped my old one for a spare of my friend, when I got a new GPU, and it covered my PCI pork, so got a PCI Express one, which I can say is an ABit AirPace, but only cause it says it on the donglie bit that comes out on a wire. I am literally at the end of my tether, if I have to I can buy a new adapter, but Id really prefer just fixing this one, thanks for reading for a start, and thanks for any help in advance.

Please fill in your system specs. This is what I get on a quick search ABIT AirPace Wi-Fi PCI Express Wireless Adapter - Newegg.com
Looks like no 7 drivers as the website no longer exists as ABit went out of business a few years ago. You'll have to buy another adapter, they are inexpensive.

I don't believe it is possible for an SSD to 'break' a wireless adapter. After all, it's justa fast hard drive and has little to do with a wireless adapter. I believe Indianatone is correct, and has offered the best advice.
