New to Duo monitor, need software

So right now i recently got a duo monitor setup. Before I had my 2nd moitor be my TV for movie purposes. Now i have 2 actual monitors 2 19" 1440X900. So far i downloaded a program called DUo Monitor to help it basically adds a taskbar to my second monitor.

Now i want a program to help me calibrate the brightness and color to be the same on both screens. I tried doing this manually but it's taking quite a bit and i am nowhere near. One is a Gateway other is a Dell.

Also any other tips and hints of what i can do would be appreciated.

Hi Chris -

Have you installed the full software for your Display adapter (video card) to see what options it has? Normally this is the next step if you don't get enough choices on the context menus when you rightclick on Desktop which is where dual monitors can be quickly configured.

Yeah i have the latest, sadly it doesnt start up... [ i am very sad about this ]
So right now i have a program 1) powerstrip 2)dual monitors
I can have corrected the color to almost match on both monitors, and extended my taskbar to both screens .

You say the Display software doesn't start when you click on it? Then I'd reinstall it in Control Panel.

What options are on your context menu when you rightclick on desktop empty area.

It's honestly a pain in the butt to get 2 different brand monitors to look the same.
I've never used one, but they do have calibrators out there,

@greg i have AMD engine catalyst control on right click on empty desktop area as an option once i click on it, the mouse arrow turns into spining waiting circle and then nothing happens.

I dont think i will reinstall today, but i recently did it like 5 days ago and it didnt work either. I was wanting to change something forgot what.

Zepher, i been winging it and so far is close enough and matches 90%. Very close I dont feel like buying tools and software in the 150+ range let alone over 20 bucks.

I never install CCC, just the driver - consider it bloated crapware. You may be better off finding another software.
