New UD5h build does not boot up properly, even into the BIOS

I can't open any of those files. When I try to open one, I get message about inserting disc, etc.

I enabled the Virtualization in my BIOS and it booted and it appears to all be working OK (I'm entering this with the PC). I then rebooted, reset the VT to disabled as I don't need this function.

Then the problem must be my board. And the reason you cannot open the files is because they are RAR. You probably have your ISO software settings to include support for RAR. You will need to use another software like Winzip or Winrar to be able to extract it. There are several pictures that might help explain my problem.

I have Winzip. When I try to open them it gives me a message about loading a disc where the files are. I just tried one of the files, if you broke the file into many parts then they would all have to be downloaded before actually uncompressing since I get this message:

The actual message I get when I try to unzip part 1 is "Please insert the disc containing Users\name\desktopprobsl.part2.rar" into drive C

The problem could be the board or the CPU, since the CPU has to have the option (or the option working).

There should be an option to extract.
The problems was the board, I am having it switched and then I will check it. Thanks all of you!

Ill share my horror story, first the specs
Motherboard: GA-Z77X-UD5H (obviously)
Processor: intel i7-2600
Memory 2x8GB G.Skill Ripjaw DDR3-1600
GPU: EVGA nVidia GeForce GTX 560 2GB
Hard Drives: a 128GB SSD and a 2TB HDD both SATA
Optical: Asus dvd+r
Power supply: 750W

I should have known something was up when on the first boot it took me INTO the bios menu and not to the normal 3D bios startup screen. I had a hell of a hard time getting it to consistently try and boot b/c I initially didnt have the optical on IDE (While keeping the drives on AHCI Mode). This was a royal pain, it took me a couple tries before it was in a configuration that would boot from the optical, but worryingly when it was incorrect it would show the startup screen and not let me back into the bios. This called for a hard shutdown from the on board switch or the power supply, removal of all connectors, and then an attempted reboot. On several occasions it would again boot up to the startup screen but not allow me into the bios setup.

This continued through 3 CMOS resets and uncountable reboots.

I finally got it "right" installed Fedora 17 x64 and things were rolling along nicely. Until I updated fedora. After the reboot the graphics were munged so i attempted to reinstall, this turned....again...into the same thing described above b/c the optical drive was no longer the default boot method. Now rebooting after moving things around caused the system to shutdown after it get to the startup screen. Finally, I got a notice that the bios was corrupted and do I want to reinstall from the backup. I clicked yes, got the normal "dont power down while this is going on" ....and at which point the thing powered itself down when it was 56% though the flash.

Now the thing wont even boot to the bios. Ive tried resetting it, removing the battery, waiting all the times suggested (even the 3 hour one....twice) with the same result. It turns on, CPU fans come on and about 30 seconds later it powers back down. Error code on the board says '8' or 'B' I cant tell b/c they look close enough. And yes, I did RTFM and that one isnt in there.

I've got an RMA number to send it back but just thought I'd share. Out of interest anyone else ever get that error code ?
