about time too that microsoft realised that certain programs do work after all...and some still don't...

i can't see daemon tools mentioned anywhere - my os told me it wouldn't work, but it sure does.

Just a question about the update. At Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Application Compatibility Update, it says "Trend Micro Internet Security 2007 Upgrade Block to avoid error during Windows upgrade" etc.

Is that saying that it blocks upgrading your windows to Win7 if you have the product installed? And if so, how can you install the update to block an upgrade when the update is applied post upgrade (as the update applied to Win7 and Win2k8)? You have to slipstream it or something into your Win7 installer disc?

One thing that no one has caught onto about this one is that it is not for anything other then the 7 RTMs and soon retail. It won't go on any previous builds like the RCs!

With the RTMs now available at TechNet and MSDN being the retail version in download only and the 10/22 launch you can expect to see more updates coming for the finished 7 in the coming weeks and months.

I got the Office Genuine Advantage Notification (KB/949810) too.
But Im running Office 2010 beta ? Strange...



P.S : I got many Office 2007 Updates too. This happened after Installing Visual Studio 2008.

My system and the update dude,got in automatic from microsoft not manually.

My os is in english but i changed with language pack to portuguese,and the ms office 2007 either,as you see is true or not?

I do not have this update available from Windows Update. I wonder why. I'm running Windows 7 Evaluation copy, Build 7100.. I'm guessing that is the RTM release.

Not everyone has the RTM on at this point. Once the 10/22 date arrives then more will be seeing that as a regular update for the finished version. Well at least until the Launch party anyways!
