New windows update in a holding pattern

Hello folks

Hope the good health and interpersonal wealth I wish you comes right into your eyes and heart here.
Ms has put a new update on my 7 machine, that at this point, unless I go delusional and giddy with denile,I can not really be sure, after all I have seen, is even from MS, after having been beaten senseless with PR that my Win 7 will get no more updates, its a dinosaur, and there are wonderful colorful parties filled with happy shiny people, that i will not be ever welcome at again, unless I get MS 10, --
I must ask, does anyone know what this Update is ???

I use a registry cleaner tool to remove programs, then go into my C drive and pick out the crap that was designed to stick there like snot that will not wipe up. :shock:
if this is MS, do I need this tool, and if not how can i throw it away so I can stopped getting NAGGED that its there.

You can stop it from being offered and downloaded with a registry tweak.

I read on another page here, that this update is recommended, but if i never use this tool, should i not toss it then,
also i read it automatically on its own looks for ad ware, so if that's the case shouldn't i just download it?
Lastly I read win 7 stops getting updates TODAY, so will these yes, maybe, no, not sure yet blurry what to do activity's cease?

Windows 7 stopped getting patches for the OS when W7 reached end of support. Business customers could purchase an annual Extended Security Updates (ESU) package that would give them security patches until 2023.

However, there are other updates that are not a part of the W7 OS and that will continue to be updated, such as the MSRT and the definition updates for Defender or the Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) AV. These will be provided to all W7 systems, whether they have bought the ESU or not, until the ESU ends in 2023.
