NF4 win 7 7000 abit-an8 realtek help

I need help with drivers for my ac 97. I've tried everything in this forum, and it hasn't worked. IT always says "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)"

I've tried installing every driver linked to , deleting everything and installing drivers again, windows update driver a bunch of times. Nothing's working. I've never gotten sound ever, and I would really appreciate if you guys could help me solve this problem.

What driver version do you currently have installed? and did you use XP or a Vista driver?

I tried every driver imaginable, one xp driver and a bunch of vista drivers
