:D Hello :D

This a plugin for Win7 (64bit),
with this plugin your operating system thinks it has a 3dfx video card installed..
So you get a 3dfx card installed next to youre Nvidia or Ati card.

If you don't know what or who 3dfx was then shame on you :p

Click on the link for the games that are playable..
nGlide - 3Dfx Glide wrapper | Zeus Software

Thank you ;)

I thougt most people out here are old enough to know the old rival of Nvidia and ATI..

Some games that you can play again:

- Fifa 98: Road To World Cup
- Need For Speed 2 SE
- Pandemonium 2
- Test Drive 5
- Turok: Dinosaur Hunter

etc..

That cable is actually used for an SLI setup :)

A critically acclaimed feature of the Monster 3D II (and all other Voodoo2 boards) was the capability to connect two identical boards in a SLI (Scan-line Interleave) configuration. In SLI, a pair of Voodoo2 boards splits the effort of rendering the 3D scene, allowing performance to be nearly doubled.

Great find! I remember the good old 3dfx days. There are some games I just cannot get to run under my GeForce GT 220 the way they ran on my old 3dfx Voodoo3 3000. Ah memories ... damn, what a quick way to feel old.

Close but not quite.

The VGA cable included with Voodoo2 boards was a pass-thru type. Voodoo2 boards were not stand-alone display adapters, just graphics accelerators. You hooked the Voodoo2 up to your already existing display adapter via the short VGA cable.

The original version of SLI actually connected both cards via a very short cable that looked more like an IDE ATA/33 or Floppy drive cable. Flat ribbon style.
