No display during cold boots

Another thing happened! Earlier I verified with Sapphire that the card is out of warranty. Today, when I contacted the retailer, they said the card is under warranty:mad::mad::huh:.

I sent it for RMA process and hope they won't check in that detail. Also, they said they won't be shipping back an HD 7750 , instead they will be shipping an R7 250X:mad:. That's not fair. I need another HD7750:mad:.

Hmm well from this it looks like the one they are sending you is a direct replacement so I would wait and see how it performs. Radeon R7 250X Review - Graphics Card - Tom's Hardware

Now I think I said it earlier but I went away from ATi stuff to NVidia a while ago on the advice of a friend in the forum who has since passed on - simply because I had so many issues with the ATi cards and the CCC.

I haven't had a one single issue with NVidia but the choice is yours I any case. I do hope the new card does resolve things but if not maybe it might be worth cutting your losses and do what I did.

Wow!! I completely agree with you. This was my first AMD/ATI card in my life and more importantly, first card that had an issue. I never liked the CCC because of it's buggy nature.
My first card was an XFX 6600GT which worked extremely good (I remember how I played Doom 3 beautifully), after that I went with 8600GT from the same brand, which I used for 2 years. Then again upgraded to Palit 9500GT. After that XFX GT 240, then this stupid AMD card.

Simply saying, NVidia cards work great irrespective of board manufacturer. Sapphire seems to be the best AMD card manufacturer but still...
I still wonder why many people prefer AMD over Nvidia especially in terms of processing power..

I don't know mate I just know like yourself the CCC was a flipping nightmare. I don't game hardly at all and I just have the Asus GTX 650Ti ( https://www.asus.com/au/Graphics_Cards/GTX650_TI1GD5/ ) - now superceded it seems by the 750Ti (https://www.asus.com/au/Graphics_Cards/GTX750TIOC2GD5/gallery/ ) it has a hike in the running speed but I just like the NVidia because the quality of the graphics.

It is interesting to note too that a few of the better gaming laptops like my Asus G750JM have NVidia graphics (GTX 860M) included for when the tough gets going. I also find the NVidia Control Panel much easier to use too NVIDIA Control Panel – Performance Group | NVIDIA
The Intel graphics are good on the laptop but one certainly notices the quality especially when I hook up a 27" monitor to mine - having said that the Intel have an interesting control panel now for the later chipsets too. https://downloadcenter.intel.com/search?keyword=hd+4600

But I digress - again;)
