When I turn on the computer, I get a blue, wispy screen and a pointer.
I have read all the posts regarding this problem. I don't think anyone figured it out without formatting their hard drive.
I have created a recovery disc (which is now stuck in the DVD drive b/c I can't eject). Booting from the dvd drive, I can get to the first box of the repair "wizard" to select language and country screen, then it takes me back to the blue, wispy background with a large white mouse pointer.
Safe mode results in the same screen.
F10 on boot gets the windows error recovery screen. When I launch startup repair, it loads files, and takes me back to the blue wispy screen.
All F keys eventually in the blue screen.
I don't have any other Windows DVD/CDs.
I have never posted on a forum, so please forgive my lack of decorum. I'm trying
