No mouse, No keyboard, No USB's . I'm trying to save the computer

You can't use an .exe file with dism++. It shouldn't matter because the usb3 stack linked earlier seems to work with everything

SIW2, Thanks for your help. It is all unfamiliar territory for me. I will try to figure it out in the next day or two.

Reminder, USB ports don't work. Will the dism++ work from a CD, tried that and got "Press any key to boot from CD" No luck again. No keyboard.

Finally I removed the new USB 3.0 card and the hard drive and put them in a similar Win7/64 computer. I successfully loaded the new driver from the CD. Got indication that load was successful. Removed card and HD, and put back in to original computer. NO HELP. Same problem. No USB ports work.
I loaded a very old CD with Unbuntu, and the new card USB ports work. Others dont.
