New rig purchased 14 months ago. Made to order by a tech-guru (or so he thinks he is)

Recently installed Epson software for XP400 printer on the rig and this laptop.
Epson install offers no options. It is an uncontrollable "dump"
Install created an Epson Toolbar on WinExp

On 32-bit laptop, when Epson software uninstalled from User account, using "Run as Administrator" -- rebooted and toolbar was back.
On 32-bit laptop in Admin account, uninstalled Epson software and Epson toolbar is gone

BUT...

On 64-bit rig, I do not know the password for Admin. I understood the rig was/is setup as Admin-user.

Is it possible to somehow see the OS setup, and if it is Admin-user, I can somehow reset the password ?

I have a sinking feeling the only solution is a clean install of Win7.

Just now went back into PCs, CP > Users and I cannot get "User Profiles" back

Also looked at my 32-bit laptop setup, it is also "Owner Administrator"

On the laptop I had to log in as admin to uninstall Epson toolbar on WinExp

What I don't understand is if both PC and laptop, both Win7 Home Premium -- I had to access laptop as Admin (Run as Admin, would not uninstall Epson toolbar) -- But I cannot log into Admin account on the PC

Hope this is not too confusing. I just want to Uninstall Epson toolbar on both PC and laptop ...correctly.
I am not into band-aids nor near-enough-is-good-enough.

Epson bloatware !!@@##

Hi Brink :)

I don't know if you "saw" all of my previous post.
The gremlins in my fingers somehow hit "post reply" before I got much past
There is only one account: Owner administrator
Would appreciate you comments on the rest of that post #3

Thank you :)

If I understand you correctly, you could use OPTION FIVE at boot to reset the password on the PC that you say you can no longer log in to the administrator account.
