No search data from software

Can anyone shed light on a problems I am having getting data with some software.
The software I ran was Disqusv2 and Social Traffic Ranker, both by Andy Black.
I have contacted his support and they are working on it.
You may ask, "why are you seeking help here then?"

I have had the same problem with other (website keyword search) software and thought it may just be a bad setting in my Win 7.

You put a keyword into box and it should return websites for the best match to keyword. I get no data back at all, just blank.

Any help gratefully received.

Hmm, sounds interesting. Maybe you have a network problem?

I run Scrapebox and No Hands Seo and they appear to work ok.
I take your point though, there may be a setting somewhere stopping a particular search from working.
My ISP is BT, would you suggest I uninstall the router and all software settings for it and re-install?

You could try it, but I don't you to make things worse! I don't use router software, I have them configured on their own and use Windows default settings to connect to them.

I have cleared all settings, re-installed router and set windows defaults.
No change, just have to wait for software creator to find solution.
