No signal after few minutes+no hdd activity

As the title says my pc keeps turning off the display after a few minutes and there is no hdd activity. I also pressed the num lock key but it doesn't blink. Changing mobos also didnt help :cry: help meeee!!!!!

Samsung sata 3gbps 7200 rpm hdd

Okay so I have plugged out the hard drive and the same happens when I try to boot from cd on my biostar mobo. So any suggestions

It can be due to CPU high temperature. Is the heat sink dust free?
Also can be a defective Power supply.

No my cpu is always below 50 c while warning temp of my cpu is 72 c. I use that psu on other mobo and it hasn't caused any problems. I forgot to tell that my cpu socket had bent 3 pins. One was repaired but the other two broke off. Fortunately those broken pin were ground and not used pins as the circuit diagram of lga 775 socket
