no sound at all

plz help
i was talking to a friend on Skype and after i unplugged and plugged back in my headset and mic, i couldnt hear ANYTHING. nothing was coming through my headset
i don't know whats work so i would appreciate if someone would help me

What kind of a headset are you using did you check your playback devices to see if they are on? Have you tried using a different headset with the PC? It could be the headset its self
