no sound on my HP DV7 1245ca ( hellllp)

hey there
I installed windows 7 an hour ago on my HP DV7 1245ca
and everything is ok but the sound
I tried everything like updating , installing the drivers , installing bios
and still no luck
any answers for me ?

have u tried to check whether the device is compatible with the current verions of windows u installed?

no ...I dont know how to do that
can anyone help to get my audio working pleasssssss

solved ...just had to enable it and make the speakers as default
it seems the default for windows 7 is off !!!!!!!!!! witch is kinda of stupid
but yes it worked now
