Just a few minutes ago, while downloading some patches and other stuff for The Sims 2, I opened my computer and say a HDD called Local Disk (Q). I have never had anything connected to this computer that had that name. There were no other hard drives attached. I did attached an external DVD burner, but it had been on for 2 hours with no problem, and still showed up under Devices with Removable Storage. After disconnecting the DVD burner and turning off my wifi card (thinking it might be seeing my dads second hard drive, assuming he reconnected it to his computer. It is still there. I can not access the drive at all. Has anyone seen anything like this before? It has be quote worried. Any help is very appreciated.
I use MSE and windows firewall. I checked and only my dads computer and my own are connected to our router.
