Personally, I don't give money to anti-malware companies. Besides their software causing conflicts with other programs, think about this question.
Who best knows how to write malware?
I dumped Zone Alarm and AVG and have been using the Win 7 firewall and MS Security essentials about 6 months ago, and haven't had a virus.
But I do make image copies, so a destructive virus isn't an issue anyway.
My main security concern is spyware getting my bank account login info, so I have to have "some" kind of security.

There really was no reason to uninstall Malwarebytes. Since it is an on demand scanner, it wouldn't hurt to keep it on the system & run it once a week or so. Remember, no AV catches everything & Malwarebytes may catch something Norton doesn't.
