Norton Internet Security Update is Available!

For those who own a copy of Norton Internet Security 2009, you can now download the update which appears to be W7 Compatible.

I downloaded the program and Norton Uninstalled the Pre-Release. The I resumed the installation upon restart and installed the update. After installation I was prompted to enter my product code. I entered the code on my box and Voila!! NIS running with 320 days left of subscription.

I still like Kaspersky, they have also released software that's Windows 7 compatable.

The download at the link still says it's build 16.5.0.135, which is the last one that gave me fits with Windows 7 before. Can you confirm that's the build that's working? Or is it an update that comes in after you install?

The link downloads the entire NIS 2009 software. The software is installed as a trial and then ask for a product key.After the installation I entered my product code from the box. I now have my 320 days remaining until renewal which is much easier that when I had beta.

The program installed no prpblem on my Dell however, when I attempted to install this on my wifes Toshiba I had driver issues. Ended up reinstalling the BIS 2009 Beta.
