Can I say that I knew it was there but forgot to use it?
This post shook the memory cells loose. A real Duh! moment. I also noticed that the removal created a system restore point.

I wasn't running it as an administrator. I was able to clean up 1.2GB on my desktop. I'm too lazy to dig out and set up my notebook right now but I may be using it this weekend so, if I think of it, I'll try it again then.
