Not being allowed to view some site

Hi
I have had no problem with internet connectivity on my laptop, but on returning from 3 week holiday find issues I cannot understand.
I am able to access some sites, eg google, and some other information sites, but unable to access my email accounts, banking accounts, etc.
I normally use wireless but have tried wired connection and made no difference.
Switched off firewall and no difference.
Is there something I should be doing/ not doing.
Please can anyone advise.

I just used 'Reimage" windows repair tool, it scanned my laptop successfully, and when I went to buy it, got the same message on screen..." Internet Explorer cannot open the webpage"

What do I do next???

Try to avoid products that offer to scan for free but require payment to fix. Too many of those are scams and your credit card info is not safe on those scam websites.

What antivirus app are you using?
(You could enter that info into your system specs for the forum.)
