NTFS.SYS (Blue Screen - No Restart)

I don't know what is causing it, so i am not able to write about it much.
I am attaching the minidump.zip in addition to the other BS folder.
This is happening on the Ultimate.

Update Asus PcProbe, Go here: ASUSTeK Computer Inc.-Support- , it uses an outdated driver

The problem is I have the latest drivers from ASUS Site.
And I uninstalled the program. (ASUS NB Probe). (And also deleted the empty \Program Files\ASUS NB Probe Folder).
But I don't know how to remove that driver (ghaio.sys).
Can someone help me about that?

And also I don't know what to do about EIO64.sys.
I couldn't find that driver on ASUS (or on google).
I need help about that too.

ghaio.sys is a part of the Asus PCProbe program. Install the latest version of that program and it will update the ghaio.sys driver.

EIO64.sys is contained in the VGA section of this page:

Select the TurboGear Enhance Driver

This happened right now. (3/2/2011, 23 pm, Pacific)
This time it is Kernel Data Inpage Error.

I downloaded the TurboGear and NB Probe.
So, the drivers should have been updated.

I can delete both programs (Turbo Gear and NB Probe).

I will be glad if someone can help.

A process crucial to the system has been exterminated...

Before this one, it was showing:

Kernel Data Inpage Error

or

NTFS.sys.

And now this.

The crucial process.

I really appreciate some help because this is happening in Ultimate, but it has also happened in Professional before - not the crucial process, just the blue screen- (I am not using Professional that much).

So, there is a problem in both partitions that I need to fix.

There is only one BSOD error report in both of the uploads - and it is from Sep 29, 2010
Please follow the directions here to set your system for Minidumps (much smaller than the MEMORY.DMP file): Set MiniDump

You have a pile of STOP 0x117 errors in your MSINFO32 report. STOP 0x117 is very similar to STOP 0x116. As such, please follow the suggestions at this link for troubleshooting the errors: http://www.sevenforums.com/crash-lo...op-0x116-video_tdr_error-troubleshooting.html

Minidump is enabled already.
I don't know why it doesn't make the records of new blue screens.

I read the info and I will do those tests, probably this weekend.
(Need to finish my Database Assignments first though)
I will post the results.

I still don't know why the blue screen logs is not logged (dumped) though.
Minidump is enabled as I mentioned before.
I will learn after the tests I guess.

Analyzing why BSOD reports aren't gathered is pretty difficult.
First there's the generation of the crash - is there a 3rd party driver interfering with it? I know that both Intel and nVidia have their own routines that run during crashes - but haven't seen any others.

Next, is there corruption in the file system/drivers that capture the memory dump? Is there a problem with the hard drive? Does the crash interfere with any of these drivers/processes?

Then, when the system reboots, Windows has to recover the info from the hard disk and save it in the memory dump format - is it doing that properly? Then, does it properly convert the memory dump into a minidump?
Do any of the 3rd party drivers interfere with this. Is the hard drive dead/dying? Was the memory dump correctly transferred/converted from it's location in the page file to it's location in the file system?

Most of this happens early in the boot sequence - so if the structures responsible for BSOD generation aren't properly initialized - then you won't get a memory dump report.

Then fixing those structures is beyond what we do here - so that's when we suggest wiping the hard drive and then reinstalling Windows. But if all that's missing is the memory dumps, then that may not be a high priority for you.

I haven't done the 0x116 tests yet.
Long DST, one of the drives failed, probably the operating systems one. (The other one is just files, library)
(Unfortunately drives are same model).
I will still be doing other tests.

What I know is EIO driver cannot be loaded sometimes.


And physical dump fails with 0x1......c.


ASUS has a program called TurboGear for overclock. I removed that from the start-up because it was always starting with standard mode instead of high performance, at restart.
If that driver is related to that program, maybe (this just came to my mind, long shot I know).
I can delete that program, I don't want overclock (especially when I am having BSs).
