ntoskrnl.exe and svchost.exe question

Hi! This two exes are trying access to internet. Do I permit this connection? I know that both of them are windows system process but I don't know if ntoskrnl.exe realy need internet access because it's boot process.

Both of them are in windows/system32 direcory

most likely yes they are safe
just in case check if the files are signed digitally....
follow this on ntoskrnl
right click and click properties then look at what my pic....
if it matches then yeah it a good file

Thank you. In case of ntoskrnl it's the same as yours, only date is different - 22 April but svchost.exe don't have that option.

it might be that you are either running either x64 (since i am running x86) or a different build (such as the rc)

to the question svchost.exe shouldn't have a digital sig and while i think it should
