"ntoskrnl.exe" BSOD - Random moments

I don't really bother with it other than to update the drivers, but I have never had a problem with it. We do get crashes on here related to it, though. I may just be lucky in that regard, but at least if I got a crash due to CCC.exe, I know what to get rid of. ;)

Does it matter which module you run with, or does it run fine with one module regardless of which one is used? Also, does running with the module in a different slot cause any problems with one module?

I will try switching each module to different slots but I am thinking this is leading nowhere as it looks like the same problem as before before I shipped RMA.... grrrrrrr. Could it be my mobo? I am and have been careful with ESD, I dont know what to look for as the g-skill was working perfectly...

Do the G-Skill modules still work perfectly?

It could be your motherboard has a conflict with the Corsair kit you bought.

Yes the G-skill has no problem whatsoever and carries the same specs as the corsair ones execpt for memory (4GB). Yes i am starting to think there is a conflict... But looking on the web, a lot of people use the same mobo and corsair ram and dont have any problem..

Yes. Before I do this, I'm reinstalling my system and reflashing my BIOS to FC (update changes do not talk about memory).
If the problem still persists, I am going to contact them.

It's my motherboard! My system was unstable with the G-Skill ram. I suspected this for a while, it was harder to see since it seems to run better with lower ram memory. I never crashed with one stick of the corsair ram (4GB) and never (until now) crashed with the G-skill ram (2*2GB). Plus it didn't crash, it froze while emitting noise so I had to force restart manually. The noise assimilate to all the Ram crash I got in the past. Got any say before RMA?

It's highly likely it is the motherboard, but there are a couple other small possibilities. You could http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1649-clean-install-windows-7-a.html (after backing up your important data or creating a system image, of course) in case it is a Windows problem. The other two possibilities are CPU and PSU, but your symptoms do not suggest these, so they are unlikely.

Given that the crashes point to RAM, it could also be display card RAM. Use the |MG| Video Memory Stress Test 1.7.116 Download to test your graphics card memory. Let the memory test run for at least seven passes; the more the better.

I realize you probably just want to be done with the problem, but I want to make sure we are thorough so you do not end up with the same problem after you get a new motherboard.

To see if its the graphic card, I can just run my corsair ram on the intel graphic card and see if it crashes (which at my experience it was). I clean reinstalled my computer yersteday. BTW I only installed the graphic card display driver and not catalyst. Instead I use ATI tray tools: bootups are waaay faster.
I am still going to stress test my radeon hd tho.

Is it ok to run ram at lower frequency? Im thinking of buying a temporary motherboard.

Yes, but if you run at a lower frequency, you will need to adjust the timings to coincide with what the kit is designed for. You can use the SPD tabs in CPU-Z as a guide for timing settings.

Hey guys, been reading the posts on here and this seems like right place to go for some help. I built my desktop several days ago and it was running perfect for a whole 2 days, so i was just messing around on firefox checking email/facebook ect ect and it crashed, ok no biggy and then noticed it wouldnt start back up, just instant crashed. So tried reinstalling and nada, then i noticed my sims was freezing every few secs and thought it was just the game but it carried over onto desktop with random hangs and so i just said screw it, reinstalled windows and this where fun began...

Was trying to update windows, got weird fails for no reason, graphics card driver from site was giving me a 7zip crc error which it never did before, skype wouldnt install, i mean just tons of trouble. Then i started getting BSODs and idk what the problem is. I got 2 dump files for 2 different BSODs it seems but idk how to translate what they are. I never uploaded them to a site before or anything so ima try and hope it goes well and maybe someone can shine some light on what the issue is.

For the record my system is not OC, its all stock, if need be i can provide my system info if needed so any help would be muchly appreciated, spent most of the income tax on this and i cant even enjoy it sadly and i been waiting for months to play with friends on some games and now i cant cuz its just random when it does the BSOD.

Ok so i just tried to zip a DMP file but it wont let me, 7zip and winzip both fail at it, so what am i doing wrong?

Edit ok i just had to copy them onto desktop and gonna try to upload them here.

Back from the dead. After changing my mobo (to P8Z68-V LE), I had good stability for a couple of month... until then. :(
I am getting BSOD ram related, I ran Memtest and got this (image).
I am going crazy! With new mobo, new ram, problem remains! Obviously my one of my ram stick is faulty, maybe I touched it wrong, though I was very careful, touching my case (its metal) before any changes. Could something else cause damage to my products? I just think it is weird that my products fail...
I looked at QVL and ran my ram at 1.65V as recommended, disabled XMP but still got MEMORY_MANAGEMENT this night.
