Hi, my month old Dell with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit had been running fine. Today I came home and my hard drives could not be recognized and would not boot. Tried fiddling with Bios to no avail and reset the Bios to defaults. Finally unhooked the SATA drive that is the backup and the computer rebooted fine into both safe mode then "regular" mode.
Additional Information - The backup hard drive is a Seagate 750 GB drive with Windows XP on it. It used to be my main system until I had repeated BSOD issue that could not be fixed, hence the new Win 7 Dell. I plugged it in as a secondary drive, Win 7 auto ran a chkdsk on it, fixed errors, and the system had been running stable for about a month with both drives connected.
I have uploaded the dump file and am asking for any assistance in fixing the issue. Thank you!
