Solved Numerous BSOD screens, have tried everything cant find problem!

As per the website, it should have ATI Radeon HD 4200 integrated graphics. So usually if you connect to the motherboads's graphics port, it should be activated, provided the proper driver is installed. If it is not installed, windows should configure a driver via windows update automatically. At the worst case, you should get display with no driver installed.

But the no signal is not the proper situation. It can happen only when the connection is not properly done.

Edit: Good to see you happy, but you should wait upto the next morning. As, I can say you now, we have to check our next point of thinking..... cold boot BSOD. Which happens due to the voltages during the first boot after a long time.

Ok it crashed. Took forever to finally get it to go back on after changing the bios once again to my graphics card. Finally got it to turn on. But now seeing something I've never seen before.

Restarted it a few times but couldn't get it to go back on. Kept saying no signal. Finally got it back on just now. What in the world could be causing all this?

Do you have HD's arranged in a RAID array? For some reason it appears to be booting from a RAID controller. Did you change a BIOS setting besides GPU?

If not boot into BIOS setup to set SATA controller to AHCI or SATA mode, make sure Win7 HD is set first HD to boot.

If that fails change the mode to IDE.

Now might be a good time to reconsider getting a perfect Clean Reintsall since as I recall you have perhaps the worst install that anyone can have. We specialize in Best Practices which has made us the top tech forums on the web, so remind you that you're asking us to troubleshoot a pile of crapware which is an insult to Win7.

Everything in the BIOS is unchanged, I reset to defaults yesterday. I am not getting the scanning files thing anymore. I did get another blue screen a little while ago. This is so frustrating! Also, as I said earlier I uninstalled mostly all the crap that was preinstalled in this computer when I bought it 2 years ago and whatever was left never gave me a problem at all for the entire 2 years until 2 weeks ago. I am trying so very hard to NOT have to format my drive. I have an extra hard drive, a western digital still in the box. Can I install that in my computer and install windows and see if i still get blue screens. wouldnt that be a good way to determine if its my hardware or my operating system?

It doesn't matter if you uninstall the crapware as that often even damages the Win7 system files more, which is why an important step in Clean Up Factory Bloatware is to check System File integrity.

There is no comparison between a HP bloatware install and a Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7. One is the very worst install you can possibly have, the other is better than 95% of all PC owners have.

You have had the top BSOD analysts and hardware experts in the world looking at your case for days now and have tried almost everything except the critical reinstall piece. It would be much easier if there was a baseline perfect clean install where the Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7 would work much more effectively.

Very good. Provided you completey disconnect your current one. Let the computer run on the clean install and see if you get bsods.

Ok I will do that. I need step by step directions on how to remove the hard drive and add the new one. Do you possibly have a link to a tutorial for that or something?

As Greg stated, there is no reason I know of for you to be in raid mode in bios. Before you install, follow gregs tutorial http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/219487-clean-reinstall-factory-oem-windows-7-a.html#post1839164 but also, before the install, make sure your sata controller is not set to raid mode. Set it to AHCI. If you have trouble installing in AHCI, which you shouldn't, put it in IDE mode. Raid mode is totally unnecessary and only useful if you are running a raid array.

Yeah I am not sure why this computer is set for Raid, it was always like that since I got it. I will follow the instructions on the clean reinstall. I am going away for the weekend but will be installing the new hard drive and windows on Tuesday. I will keep you all posted. Thanks again for all your help!
