i just changed my os into windows 7 64- bit english version from windows 7 japanese version.. everything was fine except i couldnt acces my internet connections, my friends told me to install my motherboard driver, but mi driver is missing now, i dunno what kind of driver do i have to install, i tried to install a nvidia geforce 9200 display driver but it says its not compatible... what am i gonna do?

iv just done some reading that pc is is nice and here are the pc driver lists for windows XP/Visa/7
GATEWAY

Download the VGA, Chipset, Wireless lan driver
there is 2 drivers for wach device (Realtek/Nvidia audio for example)

Have a look here; Gateway Support - Downloads & Support Documents - Desktop / SX Series / SX2311

Use the Download Hardware Vendor Detection Utitlity it is a small programme that you install that will help you download the right drivers

Start orb, type in Device manager and select the option as it appears with the mouse it will open in a new window

Start orb, type in snipping tool when it opens it will grey the screen and change your mouse cursor to a cross use this cross to draw a box around the Device manager and save the picture to your desk top.

Reply to this message, select the paper clip it will open a new window so that you can browse to the picture on your desktop then select upload.

Here is what s written in the device manager -- xindie-pc, computer, disk drives, display adapters, dvd/cd rom drives, human interfaces devices, ide ata/atapi controllers, imaging devices, keyboards, mice and other pointing devices, monitors, network adapters, portable devices, processirs, sound video and game controller, system devices, universal serial bus controllers,... ^^^

It appears that you need drivers for your NIC (network interface controller). Does that show up with a yellow exclamation point in the "network" area of device manager?

I expect that they are included with the motherboard's chipset drivers.

It's a 38 MB downloard. I'm not sure how convenient that'll be through a cell phone.

Ok then the problem is not your PC you need to make an internet connection with your Internet provider

Really? Sucks then, maybe my internet provider isnt compatible with english os maybe just for japanese, but i have friends who have same internet provider like mine, and changed their os into english, and didnt have problems great!

If you have just changed the language MUI then no you shouldn't have problems if you have done a new install then yes you will have to reconnect with your provider

Actually i do have a recovery disk i can put it back to the way it was when i bought it, dya think i can access internet after putting it back? Anyways, for curiousity sake, how can u change lanuage MUI?

If you reset it back to when it was bought you will still have to set up an internet connection, but this must have been done sometime by someone already for you too have had internet access

With windows 7 Ultimate and I believe Professional you get the option to download and install different language packs
