Hi guys,

I have recently upgraded my motherboard to BioStar A780L3C. I also have a Nvidia 9400GT 1GB graphics card. I am unable to use this graphics card as whenever i load the drivers for the graphic card the computer crashes with a BLUE SCREEN with memory dump. It loads till the Windows 7 Logo and then it crashes. When i uninstalled the drivers for the graphics card and then restarted it worked fine. I have currently disconnected the graphics card and am using the inbuilt graphics card of the motherboard.
I would really appreciate some help in this matter.

My PC Specs:

Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 245 Processor
MotherBoard: BIOSTAR Group A780L3C
RAM- 2GB DDR3

Are you using the latest nvidia driver from the nvidia website or the one that came with the gpu on disk?

yeah but are you using the latest most up to date drivers downloaded from the nvidia website or the ones that came on the cd.

if youre using the cd version then there will probably lie the issue.

Yeah I have downloaded the latest drivers from the Nvidia website but still am getting the blue screen of death after installing them.
I'm wondering, is it something to do with the new motherboard? Like the power supply to the graphics card or something?
Or has it got something to do with my OS??
today i tried using the graphics card without the drivers installed and windows7 booted however the display was all distorted and grainy. Couldn't make anything out.
