Nvidia drivers crashing

Hello,


I am experiencing some graphics drivers crashing issues and BSODs .


I am getting the following error : "Display driver NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver , Version 391.31 stopped responding and has successfully recovered."

Please help me to resolve these issues.

Yes,I am using Firefox and it is up to date.

That was a known problem in Firefox and it was fixed via an update. However, I still periodically get that error if I'm playing videos on the internet. On the other hand, it doesn't BSOD. It just recovers.

If your graphics card is overheating, it will BSOD with basically the same information as in your log (except it won't recover as in the message you're getting) until you reboot.

You might try using a different browser for a few days to see if the problem goes away.

What is the description of your NVIDIA graphics card?
It appears to be using a pretty old driver - 391.31
A clean install with the current driver may resolve your crashing issue.

inspiron7, u can find the latest Nvidia Drivers here at this link..

just select your gfx card from the drop down menus and u will get the latest driver for your card...
